Aaron Schembri started gigging at the age of fifteen. Since then he has played alongside many of Australia’s most legendary singers and songwriters. Soul great Renee Geyer, Ross Wilson of Mondo Rock and Daddy Cool fame, Phil Manning from Chain and a host of others.
I chatted to Aaron a few weeks out from his September 25 album launch at the famed Memo Music Hall.
In Part One of this interview we talk early inspiration, Aussie Rules football, mentors and the recording of Aaron’s debut album City Lights.
