Computer Vision (CV) is a subset of Artificial Intelligence that enables machines to interpret and analyze visual data from the world around them. Computer Vision is used in many industries for quality control.
By using computer vision algorithms and machine learning models, it is possible to automate quality control processes and improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. For instance, implementing Computer Vision/Machine Learning in the production line for quality control helps to decrease product defects to the absolute minimum.
Quality control with the help of computer vision is immaculate. It is free from human factors such as inattentiveness, exhaustion or simple boredom. Repetitive tasks do not scare away AI and do not compromise the level of assessment of any products and details.
