The Daily Office: Morning Prayer. Our liturgy is a compilation from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, Enriching Our Worship, Volumes I & II, Prepare the Way: Celtic Prayers for the Season of Light, and Celtic Daily Prayer, Books One and Two. Our readings this morning: Psalm 37:1-18, Isaiah 7:1-9, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, and the Gospel of Luke 22:1-13. We pray the wicked’s reach to be cut off, for God’s sustenance and protection, and for discernment of God’s Own Presence. We continue to use an inclusive-language Affirmation of Faith derived from Ephesians 3:15-17, written by John Schimminger of St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church.
