Navigating the intricacies of family law can be a daunting journey, and for many, the experience can be emotionally charged and life-altering. Unfortunately, the impact of a family law judge's decisions can extend far beyond the courtroom, shaping the trajectory of lives in unforeseen ways. In my own personal experience, I found myself facing a family law judge who, rather than impartially presiding over my case, seemed to exert a disproportionate influence that left me feeling bullied and intimidated.
The repercussions of this perceived bullying were profound, reaching into the core of my life and, most significantly, impacting the well-being of my son. The judge's decisions, driven by what appeared to be a lack of empathy or understanding, have left a lasting mark on both of our lives. The trauma of feeling coerced and powerless in the face of such authority has cast a shadow over the sense of justice and fairness that should be inherent in family court proceedings.
As a result of the judge's actions, my son's life has been significantly altered, and the ripple effects have extended to my own. It's disheartening to reflect on the ways in which a legal system designed to protect and serve families can sometimes fall short, leaving individuals feeling victimized rather than supported. My hope is that by sharing this experience, others may find solace in knowing they are not alone in facing the challenges of family court and that broader conversations about reform and empathy within the legal system can emerge.
After this hearing 6 years ago, I have never see my son alive since. I just have a single picture, it is in that clip toward the end. him holding the paper that says 12-22-2019 is all I have, Still I pay the Child Enforcement Agency every month because I live in America, I have to do exactly as the order says. The Mother and my Son live in Greece so they don't care about an American judgement.
