Mark Anielski is a renowned economist who has brought his passion for measuring and accounting for well being and the true measure of wealth to various governments and municipalities in Canada and around the world. He has also written two books on the topic, and hosts a podcast and YouTube channel called Economy of Well-Being. We talk about Mark's journey of faith and how he discovered his calling to explore the well being of people through the lens of the Gospel. There is a movement toward exploring what a virtuous banking system would look like. Should money and economics be dictated by fear? We talk about a better way to look at economics and how the onus is on Catholics and other people of goodwill to challenge narratives and come up with creative, Christ-centred alternatives for all to consider.
