On the 28th episode of The Career Planning Show, we feature an interview we conducted with Jette Stubbs, who is a Career and Business Coach, and Podcast Host for Happy Career Formula with Jette Stubbs. Jette is someone I’ve stayed in contact with ever since I interviewed her in April 2021 and I find her insights helpful for career and business development. When Jette graduated from university as an international student, she had 90 days to find a job or leave Canada. Since then, she has helped from recent graduates to corporate executives find what they love to do and sell themselves, so far in Canada, USA, and UK and in over 40 industries. Eventually, she wanted to start her own business, but she had obstacles: choosing what to focus on to create growth, an overwhelming amount of business info online, and learning how to be a good boss to yourself. She started encouraging people who were struggling with the 9-to-5 to create a career on their own terms, and helped people build businesses to replace their income in under a year. Now, she offers a podcast, online courses and coaching to help people find what they love to do and sell themselves, whether they want a job, freelance service or business.
