THE REVOLUTION IS HERE!
Well...not quite so dramatic, but in 2023 and beyond the rapid uprise and attempts at small business is going to skyrocket.
And why is that?
For starters, in an (almost) post-Covid world, workers are ejecting from the corporate world in droves in search for a better understanding of what makes a great balance in life. The desire for not having a keeper in the workplace is felt by an entire overworked population, and the uprising has slowly begun. People are now taking their new found skills, or old ones, and trying to position themselves as self-employed entrepreneurs in order to beat the burnout that has so quickly swallowed a nation.
This week, Kerry-Ann Powell, a former DC attorney and lobbyist for over 20 years, comes on the show to explain how this new small business revolution is going to be the backbone of small communities effected by the pandemic, and is going to leave a happier, healthier workforce in it's wake.
