Penn State football went the distance against an aggressive and confidnet Bowling Green team, but more explosive plays put the Nittany Lions over the top despite a shaky performance from the Nittany Lions defense.

BWI Live Postgame Show

It was an uneven day from the Penn State Nittany Lions during the team's win over Bowling Green. The defense allowed 24 first half points thanks to exploisve plays and methodical drives from the Bowling Green offense.

However, the Nittany Lions offense did enough to keep the team even through the first two quarters. However, two interceptions by Tony Rojas and Zakee Wheatley changed the game in Penn State's favor in the fourth quarter. After Wheatley's big pick on third down, running back Nick Singleton followed up with a touchdown run of 41 yards for a touchdown to put the team up by ten.
