Talk about a full circle moment! I'm so excited to have my friend, Chris Jamel, on the podcast this week. Chris and I met in college at FIT back in 2014 and became good friends. He ended up writing for The Blair List when it was a fashion and music blog, and helped grow it into a well respected publication with interviews and editorial stories. Fast forward a few years later and Chris now has his own platform, The Lifestyle NYC, where he interviews creatives and entrepreneurs about their career journeys. I had the honor of being interviewed by him for his blog a few weeks ago so it was only right to have him join the podcast. We talk about how we met, his jobs at XXL Magazine, Liberty Fairs, and Yelp, what he's learned from starting his own business, what inspires him, how to make it in the editorial world and what's next for his brand.
