On Bathroom Talks 3, your host Tami dives into a fun yet insightful conversation on millennial dating and dating trends of our time with her guests, Sam Atherley, Siera Jackson, and Elisa Trujillo. All three ladies are members of The LAB Miami representing Stargazer, Five67, and Connectiv. Dating has a different meaning to everyone, considering that it’s a broad term that has evolved throughout generations. Today, millennials have been labeled for encouraging the hookup culture and are leading the shift of dating trends. On the contrary, the longer we’re taking to commit may be leading to more successful marriages and lower divorce rates.
Financial circumstances due to high student loan debt, the rising cost of living, and the lack of well-paying jobs have changed our priorities when seeking a love interest. With various apps to find a mate, and digital saturation with seemingly endless options, the new approach to dating seems convoluted, but perhaps, our perspective has new meaning and positive change and more than anything, a reflection of our society today.
