21: NOT A SUICIDE

Adrienne Shelly. There are many examples of family members who refuse to believe their loved one committed suicide. And these cases often have lots of elements or clues that act as a veil that make it hard to know for sure if the person actually intended to take their own life, or if they were murdered. We always want to believe that we are in tune with our loved one and think that they would come to us if they were having a problem that made them feel that unaliving themselves is the answer. In many of these cases it leaves the family and friends searching for answers for years.

This case is different. This is the case of a woman found hanging in an apparent suicide, but her husband refused to give up, or let the cops walk away thinking she meant to kill herself. He pushed and pushed and finally it came to light that this was in fact not a suicide.
