Jesse L. Martin is no stranger to shows about fighting crime, having spent nine seasons on Law & Order and another nine seasons on The Flash. Now, he’s got the starring role in The Irrational, in which he plays a psychology professor who uses his knowledge and talents to help law enforcement solve special cases. Martin says that although The Irrational is a procedural crime show, he doesn’t feel it’s anything like Law & Order, especially in terms of character development.
