In this week’s episode, I chat to Joel Fleming, I met Joel earlier this year while doing Stand-Up Comedy in Melbourne, we both connected over the long layoffs we had between gigs, mine being 15 months and Joels being 13 years! Joel shared with me; he had battled Cancer! In 2012, when Joel was 31 years old, he became incredibly unwell, after some time of feeling poorly, he decided to go to a GP and his life changed forever. In this eye-opening episode, we discuss what he went through, the ups and downs, his mindset, finding small things to keep him going, undergoing Chemotherapy, as Joel says this episode, it isn’t to dwell on Cancer but to chat about it in a positive manner and to just get on with life!
