Suzy Lamplugh, a young and ambitious estate agent, disappeared in 1986 after a scheduled meeting with a mysterious client known only as "Mr. Kipper." Suzy was last seen outside a property in Fulham, London, with a man who appeared suspiciously involved in her disappearance. Later that day, her car was found abandoned with her purse inside, but crucial items like her keys were missing, suggesting foul play.

Several witnesses observed Suzy with a man fitting the description of a convicted rapist and murderer, John Cannan, who soon emerged as a prime suspect due to his similar appearance to the identikit sketch and his history of violence toward women. Cannan had been released on day leave from prison near the time of her disappearance and reportedly frequented the same bars as Suzy, further fueling suspicion. Yet, despite extensive investigations, no definitive evidence has linked him to the crime.

Years later, Cannan was convicted of a separate murder and remains imprisoned. He has denied involvement in Suzy’s disappearance, though he has hinted he may one day reveal more about her case. The mystery around "Mr. Kipper," Suzy's last hours, and Cannan's involvement has left Suzy’s family and the public haunted by questions and longing for answers.
