But first, she's a daughter of God. She is a wife and mother. She is an author of Catholic writing. And she's been on television and radio, and especially today. So welcome, Andy, thank you for coming on the show.

Thank you, Katie, for the invitation and this opportunity to hopefully read the appetites of all of your listeners about more of the Holy Spirit.

Amen. I know you have a story. And stories really are encouraging and interesting of how God works in people's lives. kind of started the beginning, I have you always were you cradle Catholic? Or are you a convert?

Andi Oney: 1:54

Yes, I was a cradle Catholic. And, you know, going to Mass was a necessity for us and receiving the sacraments. It was part of it was part of who we are our it's part of our culture, actually. I was born and raised on the Bayou of South Louisiana. So at 16 years old, my life changed when my mom began going to prayer meetings, and I was introduced to the person of the Holy Spirit. And so two years into that in 18, and I received the grace of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And I experienced this wonderful transformation of being inundated with a love of God. And when that happens, and when you have this encounter, your life has changed and your life is turned around. It doesn't mean your life becomes perfect. But it means you begin to live out the grace of the sacraments in a new way. It's almost like things begin to come to life. It's like going from black and white TV to color. All of a sudden, it's enlightened, it's it. For me, it was like an awakening. And so years later on that my husband, Deacon Larry, oni, and we were, you know, privileged to be part of this prophetic consultation that took place in the Holy Land. It was, it was one of the events leading up to the Golden Jubilee of that outpouring of the Holy Spirit that happened at the ark in the dove retreat center, many years ago in 1967. So although I was a young teen trying to live my life,
