Richard Nilsson is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and industry expert with a strong track record in the Technology, Companion Animal (Pet), Media, and Lifestyle sectors. With over 20 years of experience, including 15 years in the fast-paced Asian market, Richard has built a career defined by innovation and achievement.
Over the course of his entrepreneurial journey, Richard has smoothly moved between roles as an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and corporate leader, showcasing his versatility and expertise. His experience spans marketing, editorial content creation, sales, business development, management, leadership, and strategic innovation. He has successfully launched several startups, led fundraising efforts, and been involved in mergers and acquisitions.
Currently, Richard is the CEO and Founder of MyPetGo, a cutting-edge platform that uses AI-powered decision intelligence to provide personalized health, wellness, and longevity recommendations for dogs. The platform also links users to locally relevant service providers, forming a comprehensive pet care ecosystem. MyPetGo was spun off from Rhino Ventures Asia, Richard’s previous venture focused on developing technology solutions addressing key challenges for the well-being of people, animals, and the planet.
Earlier in his career, Richard co-founded Lifestyle Asia in 2006, a groundbreaking luxury and lifestyle platform that rapidly expanded across Asia, long before the rise of social media and modern digital publishing tools.
