Drawing from our collective strength, we reminisce about the power of unity seen during the Alabama Riverfront Brawl. You'll hear us exult in the way our community came together to support a brave young man, raise funds for his cause, and ensure justice was served. We've marked August 5th as a testament to the might of concerted action, a resounding instance of black solidarity and community fortitude.

In the ongoing pursuit of liberty, we were fortunate to be joined by David Johns, Executive Director of the National Black Justice Coalition. David shared enlightening insights on the choices we need to make to protect ourselves and others during collective action. We also touched upon the importance of accountability in the wake of celebrity social commentary and the urgent need to protect our trans community members. We dived into the rich history of LGBTQIA+ folks in African villages, drawing from the wisdom of our ancestors to inspire our struggle towards liberation.

Let's celebrate the legacies of our ancestors, draw strength from their stories, and remember the vital role we play in this ongoing narrative. So come, join us in this riveting discourse, and let's continue to strive for a freer, more equitable world.
