In this informative session of Straight Talk, Fr. John explains that the common good is the most important principle of the Church's teaching about social justice. It is the goal and measuring rod of social justice, but it alone can't support social ethics' immense weight. It needs the other two pillars as well: subsidiarity and solidarity.
