A mother's pain after losing a child is often unfathomable and difficult to put into words for others to understand. Whether it is experiencing a stillbirth or a death after the child is born, mothers are left feeling like their child was called back to God before they could even say hello.
On today's episode, we are so blessed today to sit down and talk with our very own Becky Nordquist. Becky shares her story of walking through the tragedy of multiple pregnancy losses and the stillbirth of her son, Niklas. Through this time of unspeakable difficulty, Becky talks about how she channelled her emotions into songwriting and singing. Having had a passion for music from a young age, it was through these moments of song and music that she found healing.
Through working with ministries like Music for the Soul, Becky found the path that God was calling her to be on, and how she could see the beauty and majesty of God in the ashes of life. Becky then talks directly to women who are facing similar tragedies of childloss and what they can do to find hope and healing in their lives as well.
Who is Becky Nordquist?
Becky is a West Michigan based Speaker, author, worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist. Her message full of hope in Christ, she offers both topical sessions and Bible study lessons. A blend of pop, gospel and folk sound, she offers an eclectic feel to worship and Christian Contemporary music.
Her mission is to bring the mercy, grace, and love of God to those who are broken, wandering and wondering where God is in the midst of their suffering, as well as, lead His people into deep, honest and "All In" devotion.
