In light of the 2024 Paris Olympics, I had to bring on a dear friend to tell us what it’s like being an Olympic athlete, and she did not disappoint!
Lindsey Napela Berg is a 3-time Olympian, 2-time Silver Medalist, and former Captain of the USA Indoor Volleyball Team. Lindsey grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii playing on the beach and indoor since the age of 7. Her talents then took her to the cold to help the University of Minnesota build their successful program. Along with her Olympic appearances, she played 8 years professionally in Italy and Turkey.
Since retiring she has dedicated her time to giving back to the volleyball community through storytelling and mentorship, investing in the gym Unbreakable Performance, LOVB (League One Volleyball), and real estate. Lindsey loves to travel the world as a self-proclaimed foodie and fashionista. I can attest that both of these are true!
