In my next to last basketball game of my Senior year in high school, our team played against Highland at the Idaho Center. It was in that game where we played against Wil Carter and his team. Now, 18 years later, I have Wil on the show to talk about his amazing career that extended far past the high school days!
What's great about Wil's story is his determination to get better. It didn't always come naturally for him, but once he made the decision to put the work in, it's crazy what happened to his game.
We talk about JUCO, Division 1, and Professional basketball. We talk about his church mission and how he was able to get back in shape after he returned from that (this is great for aspiring athletes who may serve church missions as well). We talk about his training and his club (Club Utah) and what they're all about.
