Overview

Dr. Amber Krogsrud’s peptide research was born from her own health struggles. Like many of her patients, Amber went through a long period of misdiagnosis (and lack of diagnosis), before she discovered the culprit of her gut sensitivity, lethargy, and other symptoms: she had candida overgrowth in her gut. Her treatment? Peptides. In this episode, host Dr. Shivani talks with Amber about these chains of amino acids, the building blocks of protein, which signal our bodies to have specific responses -- like improving sleep, building up certain kinds of tissues, and balancing our immune systems.

After her own incredible experience with peptides, Amber got trained in peptide therapy.
