Today we're broadcasting from the Midland Country Club as it's day 2 of Dow Championship week! The 2-person team event comes back to Michigan, and we're talking about it all week long as we're being joined by some of the great folks from Dow, the LPGA, and more. In our first hour we were joined by former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal so he and Huge could talk about the Tigers. They gave their thoughts on why the Tigers have been doing so poorly, said that the season is basically over for this team, and talked about what needs to happen moving forward. We were then joined by Jim Fitterling who is the CEO of Dow. He and Huge talked about the impact of the Dow Championship, talked about why the tournament is so special, discussed Dow's relationship with the World of Sports and its Global outreach, talked about the community, and so much more. We talked about MSU Athletics in our second hour as Jim Comparoni from SpartanMag.com joined us. Jim updated us Spartan Football and on everything that new Head Coach Jonathan Smith has been doing. He and Huge gave their thoughts on how this team will do in the upcoming season, talked about some of the players that seem to be making an impact, and more. We were then joined by Matt Wenzel from MLive to continue the conversation. He told us why this year's team will be better and more enjoyable to watch, and much more. We wrapped up the hour with Joe Simpson who is with First Tee of Eastern Michigan. He told us about how the First Tee program helps young kids get into Golf who may not have access to it, talked about how they build character, and more. We were joined by Bill Hobson from Michigan Golf Live in our final hour so he and Huge could talk some Golf. They both talked about the Dow Championship and some of the pairings for the event, they gave their thoughts on the Rocket Mortgage Classic and it's lack of star-power, and much more. We were then joined by Tim Twentyman from DetroitLions.com to get an update on the Lions. He told us about training camp and some added dates for fans to go watch, talked about how big this off-season is, and more. We were then joined by Carrie Schaller who is a retired Dow employee, and is volunteering with the Caddy Committee this year. She filled us in on what the Caddy Committee is, talked with Huge about how she hosts an LPGA Golfer during the Dow Championship, told us about what that's like, and much more.
