With his compelling vocals and charismatic personality onscreen, Jet Jurgensmeyer “is turning heads in the music industry and among fans” (PopCulture).
“The Nashville-born star” (TigerBeat) has been entertaining audiences since he could walk. Though best known for his work on screen, Jet has always had a natural love and passion for music. Following his debut self-titled album in 2019 - featuring fan favorites “A Lot More Love,” “Parachute” and “Real World” - the budding songwriter is looking forward to putting out his most mature music to date. “I am very happy with the new songs,” exclaims Jurgensmeyer. “It means so much more to me being able to write and perform rather than just singing. It’s a whole new feeling writing a song and seeing it come to life.”
After spending the year surrounding himself with Nashville and Los Angeles’ best writers, Jet has been honing in on his storytelling craft and focusing on the inspiring messages he wishes to deliver. With a collection of new songs that perfectly blend country and pop, Jet will continue to present “an unapologetic shot of positive energy” (Taste of Country). Fans will get the first taste of the upcoming project with June 2021 release “Fast Forward,” an endearing tune backed by an infectious groove. Written with Bridgette Tatum (co-writer on "She's Country") and Jessie G (Redneck Records/Gretchen Wilson's label), this is just the beginning of what’s to come from the rising young star.
From comedy to drama, award-nominated young actor Jet Jurgensmeyer has brought dynamic characters to life in film and television. Jet recently wrapped up lending his talents and bringing a new perspective to the series regular role of “Boyd” on FOX’s hit comedy, “Last Man Standing.” He is also providing his voice to the new Disney animated series, “TOTS”, in the lead role of Pip the penguin. In 2017, Jet was seen starring opposite Valerie Azlynn and Jackée Harry in the indie feature film “Cupid’s Proxy” (Simba Entertainment) which premiered on VOD nationwide September 12, 2017. Jet was then seen starring as grandson ‘Skip,’ in the award-winning NBC series “Will & Grace” opposite Sean Hayes (October 2017). He then starred as fan-favorite Stinky Peterson in the film reprise of the popular 90s/00s television series, “Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie,” which premiered on November 24, 2017. The two-part TV film served as the definitive finale of the series, answering all unanswered questions, including the whereabouts of Arnold's missing parents. Jet then went on to voice a role in the 20th Century Fox film, “Ferdinand,” released in theaters nationwide on December 15, 2017. The film follows Ferdinand (played by John Cena), a bull with a big heart, who is mistaken for a dangerous beast and is captured and taken from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Jet voiced the role of Young Guapo, the counterpart to the adult character, played by former NFL Superbowl Champion and MVP, Peyton Manning.
