Baxie talks to one of his all time favorites—multi-instrumentalist Harold “Happy” Chichester! Happy’s incredible career began with the Columbus, Ohio based band The Royal Crescent Mob! This was a band that was (and continues to) to hold a special place in my home collection of entirely too many records. But his career hardly stopped there. He was a one-time member of The Afghan Whigs, The Twilight Singers, and Howlin’ Maggie! On top of that he’s release three amazing solo records. He was also heavily courted by Dave Grohl to join The Foo Fighters (an offer he turned down to keep working on his own music). Grohl has even referred to him as one of the best songwriters in America (which I agree with!). It’s a special episode with a guy that I’ve wanted to talk to for the last 40 years.
