Welcome to River City Church Online. Thank you for joining us today for our summer series called Living In God's Amazing Grace.
Today's message has been presented by Pastor Darrell Bierman.

Inside every Christian there is a spiritual war.

It is an all-out war for control between two sides: the sinful nature (the “flesh”) and the Spirit.

Galatians 5:17 unveils the conflict: “For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.”

The battle is between two opposites: the flesh and the Spirit.

On our own, we don’t stand a chance in this war.

However, anyone who has tasted the grace of God in Christ has the person of the Holy Spirit living within.

And, as we partner with the Spirit we can -and will experience daily victory!

Praise God that by his grace he provided us with the power of the Holy Spirit so that we no longer live under domination of defeating sins.

“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Gal. 5:16)
