Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa - more widely known as her online alias Amouranth - is a Twitch content creator with over 5 million followers, as well as an OnlyFans content producer, where she makes upwards of $1 million monthly via the platform. She claims to be the world's largest creator on the website. On June 15, 2022, Amouranth announced from her personal Twitter account that a man who had been harassing her for around 45 days had finally been arrested, following a supposed attack on her life resulting from a failed pursuit of her love. The man, who travelled from Estonia to the US state of Texas, has allegedly been put in the custody of the Estonian embassy, and may have been deported. The accompanying thread with this news provides details of strange videos created by the man, with the tweets also rekindling discussion about the dangers for online content creators whose fanbases form parasocial relationships with them - especially for women, and specifically those who controversially use mainstream platforms (even Twitch) as an outlet for the publication of their adult entertainment.
