Growing up deaf bears certain challenges. I had the lovely Kellina Powell on the show, a truly remarkable and powerful young woman, who talks with us about her experiences growing up deaf.
She lost her hearing when she was about 4 years old. This would change forever how she experiences the world around her, and herself.
