Fathom Nickel Expands Geochemical Footprint at Gochager Lake Property with Promising Results

Fathom Nickel CEO Ian Fraser joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the final results of the company's June soil and rock geochemistry program at the Gochager Lake Property. These results have provided significant insights, clearly demonstrating that the geochemical footprint of the Gochager Lake deposit has been extended by up to four kilometers along the trend in both the northeast and southwest directions. Fraser highlighted that the pXRF analyses of outcrop chip samples and outcrop rock sampling have substantially expanded the variable-textured gabbro footprint in the historic Gochager Lake deposit area, with an increase of approximately 12.5 times the original size. This expansion has revealed a prominent linear trend characterized by coincident and highly anomalous Nickel-Copper-Cobalt plus Chromium-Magnesium in-soils. This trend, which exceeds 600 meters in length and up to 100 meters in width, is indicative of a subsurface mafic-ultramafic source rock. Moreover, this newly identified trend occurs approximately 1.2 kilometers east-northeast of the historic Gochager Lake deposit, extending towards Weaver Lake, and remains open beyond the current zone of soil sampling. Notably, one individual soil sample returned highly impressive results with 1,650 ppm Nickel, 116.5 ppm Copper, and 373 ppm Cobalt, found approximately 1.0 kilometer west-southwest of the deposit area.
