Aclara Resources CFO Francois Motte joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announced the company has received a US$730,000 research, development, and innovation grant from the Chilean Economic Development Agency’s Innovation Management Division. Combined with Aclara’s own investment, the initiative will be funded with approximately $1 million to revolutionize rare earth element (REE) exploration using artificial intelligence (AI) models. The project employs advanced machine learning to analyze complex datasets in real time, focusing on the identification of REE mineralization within ionic clay deposits. By integrating field data gathered by Aclara’s Exploration Team, the AI system combines data processing power with geological interpretation to evaluate extensive land areas efficiently.
