A former standout guard, Drew played Division 1 basketball at Lafayette College and the University of New Hampshire. He has served as a D1 assistant coach at the University of Hartford and Bryant University, contributing to player development and game strategy. At Choate, Drew led the basketball team to multiple NEPSAC tournament appearances, including winning the 2018 New England Prep School Class A championship.
