The Elephant in the Room with Eric Darton
Manage episode 322652749 series 3326386
A Zojirushi thermos may be the connector that allows Eric Darton, prolific author of fiction and nonfiction, to download ideas, inspiration and that ineffable jolt of energy that he knows how to transform into words.
Follow our discussion to find out what luxury means to him, how he gets in the flow, and why a great quality saw comes only second to his thermos.
Eric Darton’s books include Free City, a novel, first published in 1996 by WW. Norton and recently re-released by Dalkey Archive Press, and the New York Times bestseller Divided We Stand: A Biography of The World Trade Center (Basic Books, 1999, 2011). He co-edits Witty Partition, a triannual journal of world literature, wittypartition.org.
