Although The Royal Family shared birthday wishes for Prince Harry’s 40th birthday, they cropped Meghan Markle out of a photograph.
The Royal Family's official X (formerly Twitter) account posted: “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!” alongside a picture of Harry from a 2018 royal engagement in Dublin, back when the Sussexes were still working Royals. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the same message and used a photograph from a visit to Dogpatch Labs, a Dublin tech hub, where Harry and Meghan had met with entrepreneurs.
However, in the original image, Meghan was seated next to Harry. For the birthday wishes, the photograph was cropped to exclude her, focusing solely on the Duke.
Conspiracy minded folks may be disappointed by this fun fact. The Independent reports although Meghan was included in the original image alongside the duke, the cropped version simultaneously appeared on Getty Images alongside the full photograph in 2018.
