Welcome to Episode 152! Mark & Casey are sipping their port vintage, kiki-ing, and reflecting on past Prides. If you've ever been to a Pride parade, Pride festival, or any Pride event you'll know these are always memorable events. If you haven't -- it's time to have some Pride for your life!
This week The Boys are reminiscing and sharing their favorite Pride memories from their first to the most recent. The conversation is full of hilarity, personal stories, meaningful connections, and impactful experiences. Relationships, exes, cocktails, flags, nattys, photo shoots, inappropriate messages --- it's all in there.
First though, Casey is sharing about an important trip with Miss Jeffrey and Mark celebrated an important time with Scott H and a stay-cation with a trip to see an epic piece of theatre in this week's Pick-Up.
As always, ripped from the headlines (or the back page) in Trash Talk this week The Boys are discussing a recent ruling in a California court about "confession", the backlash aimed at the extreme right for comments regarding a recent interview with out and proud, immigrant, black, and woman in power, White House Chief of Staff, Karine Jean-Pierre, and a hate crime played out in social media leaves an anti-LGBTQIA+ man in hot water.
As always, Mark & Casey are giving you recommendations for what playing in pop culture this week.
Pride month may be almost over for so many, but the memories will live on! So fill up that glass of port vintage, grab your paints, pull up a stool, and join your GBFFs for a kiki!! Happy Pride, kids!!
