“That's taxpayer’s money that is going to support research and development and pilot projects to develop a food system that is based on environmental destruction and greed and disregard for animals, fish, and any of the other marine mammals that might be around it.” - Andrianna Natsoulas Andrianna Natsoulas is the campaign director for Don't Cage Our Oceans, an organization that exists to keep our oceans free from industrial fish farms. Offshore finfish farming is the mass cultivation of finfish in marine waters, in underwater or floating net pens, pods, and cages. Offshore finfish farms are factory farms that harm public health, the environment, and local communities and economies that rely on the ocean and its resources. Don’t Cage Our Oceans are a coalition of diverse organizations working together to stop the development of offshore finfish farming in the United States through federal law, policies, and coalition building. And, although it is not yet happening, right now the US Administration and Congress are promoting this kind of farming, which would be nothing short of disastrous for the oceans, the planet and the people and animals who live here. dontcageouroceans.org…

We took a look at a new product from MAX.ng called Max GO. Nigeria's First App for Motorcycle Transport. We mentioned the ban that brought about the problem that a solution has just been provided for and of course, experiences to get and expect from using the app. Are you a bike lover, here's the perfect solution for you to get to wherever you need to be with as minimal traffic as possible. Because if there should be such a traffic that seriously affects a bike, wonder where you'd be in a car. :)…

He further talked about combining tech work with his classes especially when he had deadlines, moving from being a graphic designer to actually putting thoughts into design processes as a UX Designer via CcHub. Hello guys, Ace & Silm again with the Made In Nigeria Tech podcast. Straight out of Saturday when 3 different meet ups held despite the rain that fell & Eyo festival, people still came out & all events had different success stories to tell. Kudos to the organizers of the Angular Nigeria meet up, Product Hunt Lagos meet up & Docker Nigeria! We moved on to talk about a trio of tools that can easily make your Slack more powerful. First of all was Watchdog, an application monitoring tool that monitors your platform & notifies you of downtimes right in your slack channel. V2 is almost out don’t sleep on this one Next was SlackWord, a dictionary right in your Slack. Get a particular word meaning or random definitions of various words every day. Great customization on this one :) Lastly, Worklogs! For remote workers & their managers, it helps you to track the number of working hours right in Slack. There’s even a dashboard for this one!…
Hello guys, Ace & Silm again with the MINT podcast. We just clocked 20 episodes young old. Pardon us as we started this episode lamenting how short a week is, ordinary 7 days Lol. This episode was quite fast & furious and our brake lights came on for the first time when we talked about this tweet making waves by Wes Bos and someone said Nigerian like jumping on things like Danfo, let's find him!! The replies to the tweet made it even more emotional & there's someone making a joke about 'the Nigerian Prince' in there. Smh. Ryan Hoover, Founder of Product Hunt did us the honours and announced that we will be having our own very first Product Hunt Meetup in Lagos, May 20th. To be honest, this has been in the works for a while, powered by your favourite MINT Podcast :) You can RSVP here We went on to drop a long list of meetups & events coming up. Long enough to burn our nitro out haha.…

Super Addictive, Interesting & no bugs nor any of those underworld code-aliens :) Uber and Taxify at war and how it benefits users and the drivers alike.True talk here. Real life story.…
