During Washington's fifth spring practice on Thursday, wide receivers Denzel Boston and Jeremiah Hunter both made multiple outstanding plays for quarterbacks Will Rogers and Demond Williams, giving the appearance that Jedd Fisch's team will have a pair of high-level pass catchers as the team moves into the Big Ten. But the offense didn't dominate on the day, as the defense came up with six interceptions, highlighted by two from Davon Banks and Thaddeus Dixon, along with one from both Peyton Waters and Kamren Fabiculanan, showing that Steve Belichick's defense will be better at forcing turnovers than the 2023 unit.
