John Baker, CEO of Mornington Peninsula Shire in Victoria, is soon to be heading up one of the nation’s fastest growing councils - the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

He joins Chris Eddy to talk about his career journey that brought him from local government in the UK to Australia over a decade ago.

John shares his thoughts on the challenges that councils face, transparency when it comes to CEO pay packets, and what he would like staff at his new council to know about him before he gets there.
