You've heard it often enough, including during this podcast, that the bar is so low that a grand jury could indict a ham sandwich. So was the case presented by the Clark County District Attorney's office suitable for a lunch menu? Or does it merit prosecution? What exactly convinced a Clark County grand jury to indict Keffe D for murdering rapper and actor Tupac Shakur? In this episode of Lena Nozizwe Reporting; Tupac's Murder Was His Case retired LVMPD detective Brent Becker provides his take on almost all of the witnesses (save one). Witnesses who are featured in this episode include: (ret) LVIMPD detective/sergeant Kevin Manning South Side Compton Crip and associate of Keffe D and Orlando Anderson Denvonta Lee aka Dirt Rock Reggie Wright Jr. former Compton Police Department officer, former Death Row Head of Security, childhood acquaintance of Suge Knight For more information go to Lena Nozizwe Reporting: Tupac's Murder Was His Case - podcast (tupacmurderpodcast.com) #tupac #tupacshakur #makaveli #whoiskeffed #whoistupac…

Where was retired LVMPD homicide detective Brent Becker when he first heard about the arrest of Keffe D? How does he know Cliff Mogg, the now retired LVMPD homicide detective who somehow brought the case of Tupac Shakur's murder to the Clark County DA? And just how familiar is Brent with those gathered to announce the indictment of Keffe D? (Hint: He knows them all.) Brent, one of the original investigators of the murder of Tupac, breaks it down when he speaks to Lena Nozizwe exclusively in this bonus episode of Lena Nozizwe Reporting: Tupac's Murder Was His Case…

Twenty-seven years ago Brent Becker was a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detective and he got an unusual call in the middle of the night. No, it's not unusual to get a call any time if your job is to investigate murders. But in this case no one had died. On September 7, 1996, it was just a shooting. The difference was, says Becker, that a high-profile victim was involved. Becker left the homicide department in 2001 without solving the murder of Tupac Shakur. In the years that have followed the investigation of Tupac's death has been cloaked in controversy, conspiracies and plenty of outright lies. But no arrest. Until now. This episode was recorded in the early afternoon of October 2, 2023 before the arraignment of Keffe D. #tupacmurderpodcast #tupac #keffed #keefed #lenanozizwe www.tupacmurderpodcast.com He was directed to go to the scene of a shooting just off the strip. That's just not normal when your job is to investigate murders. He says he was sent to the scene because LVMPD understood that the case involved a high-profile victim--namely Tupac Shakur.…

Do you think that Tupac's murder was not solved sooner because the original investigative team did not care? Retired LVMPD homicide detective Brent Becker is not having it. Me: What do you think about that? Brent: !#@*! Warning. Strong language! But no stronger than what you will hear in one of Tupac's songs. A gangsta memoir that is also a confessional. You might that a Keffe D conviction would be a slam dunk. Not so fast. So posits former Clark County prosecutor and current Las Vegas criminal defense attorney Chip Siegel. Yes,Lena Nozizwe Reporting: Tupac's Murder Was His Case has taken a detour. I am so curious about secretive grand juries in general and the Clark County grand jury in particular. Attorney Siegel brought along his decoder ring for the latest episode of Lena Nozizwe Reporting: Tupac's Murder Was His Case. And waymint. Is a grand jury a way to fast-forward a trial for Keffe D in connection with Tupac Shakur's murder--or could it be a way of dumping the case? Hmmmmm. I learned a lot while producing this episode. Including a bit more about the Las Vegas Metro Police Department detective investigating this case. You will too. tupacmurderpodcast.com #tupac #makaveli #2pac #keefed #keefeed #lvmpd…
