Georgina Goodwin is an award-winning world-class documentary/nature and editorial photographer and Canon Ambassador 2018–2020 born and based in Kenya. She has covered conflicts, been a humanitarian, and creative entrepreneur, and is passionate about the communities.

She opens up in this episode, as her life takes a dramatic turn. In this Kenyan Story, you will eavesdrop on a journey that spans over two decades. It’s unlike any other convention founder story and more like two long-lost friends catching unpin real-time and you come along for the journey. I would like to thank Georgina for her time, for introducing us to her family, and for sharing her life so candidly with us.

Her work, which has been widely published and exhibited in major cities around the world, focuses on women, refugees, social issues, and the environment.

Georgina is a Certified Canon Trainer, TEDx speaker, and industry mentor. She is the founder of GGImages Media agency working with local talent across Africa (and the World), and co-founder of AfricaFotoChat, a platform to connect African photographers to the global industry.
