J'Niyah's special day included a ceremony filled with surprises, where she expressed her excitement for a watch she had on her list.

From receiving flowers to donning an official Walmart driver uniform and badge, her day was made even more memorable with a ride in a Walmart truck and a thrilling shopping spree. But the story doesn't stop there.

The Walmart Heart program traces back to a touching moment with Jack Scott, a young boy from Palestine, Texas, battling leukemia. To keep him awake before a medical test, his mother brought him to their local Walmart, where the store manager went above and beyond to make his night unforgettable.

Inspired by Jack's story, Walmart drivers Rickey Oliver, Phillip Hargrove, Danny Ewell, and Greg Carter initiated the Walmart Heart program in 2006. Their mission: to make sick children honorary Walmart truck drivers, providing them with uniforms, truck rides, and $250 shopping sprees at Walmart stores.

What started with a few drivers quickly grew into a nationwide movement. Over the years, thousands of Walmart drivers have participated, forming lasting bonds with the children they've honored.
