HOPE: discovering a treatment for concussion and sub concussions

A research initiative by BreatheHope Trust, an organization focused on developing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as a treatment for traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and specifically for Concussions (PCS), Sub Concussions and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). The organization is collaborating with Wesley Hyberbarics, Genuv, a research organization specializing in neurobiology, to conduct laboratory and clinical trials to measure the effectiveness of HBOT on brain cells. BreatheHope Trust is seeking partnerships to expand its research and create a nationwide program for the education, referral, and accreditation of HBOT facilities specialising in treating TBIs. The potential benefits of HBOT are in treating TBIs, particularly its impact on cognitive function and recovery from concussions. The research is designed to validate the findings of exisitng research and establish HBOT treatment protocols to be used as a viable treatment option for these conditions.
