Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR), a leader in eVTOL aircraft development, announced the framework of a significant agreement in Abu Dhabi. This multi-hundred-million dollar deal accelerates Archer's air taxi operations in the United Arab Emirates, starting next year. The agreement includes investments in manufacturing, operations, and training.

This agreement makes Abu Dhabi a global leader in urban air mobility with plans to launch air taxi operations using Archer's Midnight aircraft. Key aspects of the collaboration involve vertiport construction, operational support, and local workforce development.

Archer aims to revolutionize urban travel by offering electric air taxi flights, reducing commutes from hours to minutes. The piloted Midnight aircraft is designed for rapid, efficient travel with minimal downtime between flights.

Archer founder and CEO, Adam Goldstein stated: “This agreement underscores Abu Dhabi’s strong commitment to Archer and conviction to become a global hub for urban air mobility.”

Archer is designing and developing electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for use in urban air mobility networks.
