David Boyle is one of the best-known personalities in financial services in New Zealand. He is an experienced executive who is passionate about financial literacy in New Zealand consumers, particularly investment literacy. He is also passionate about music, which led him to his first governance roles. He now has governance experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, and experience as a chair.
Mark Banicevich asks David about managing risk, particularly in the not-for-profit sector. David and Mark also discuss the value of diversity on the board (and what diversity is), and the importance of succession planning. David also has sensible advice for new directors.
