Wende Zomnir is someone we consider a beauty titan on Gloss Angeles: she co-founded the longstanding cosmetics brand Urban Decay in the '90s, and after selling to L'Oreal and leaving the brand herself, she launched another one: inspired by her passion for the beach, surfing and sustainability, Caliray was born,
Wende has a wealth of knowledge about the industry, so we're thrilled to have her on the pod. She shares how Urban Decay was born at a time where brands weren't a dime a dozen, her thoughts on the Naked palette resurrection, what Urban was doing before any other makeup brand, and what she thinks matters most to consumers when it comes to products.
