This is a Very Special Episode celebrating that we’ve just passed 2 million downloads for the podcast! I started the podcast in March 2021 during the depths of the pandemic, with no audience at all. It took two years to reach 1 million downloads but just one more year to reach 2 million.

I’m extremely thankful for all the wonderful guests that I’ve had, and so appreciative of my audience for your support.

When I began the podcast my goal was to motivate and encourage my listeners to follow their dream, whatever it may be, just as I had followed my youthful music dream later in life. It was only after I turned 60 that I was finally able to devote myself entirely to music. Since then I’ve released 14 acclaimed albums including a Billboard #1. I’ve also written a best selling book and started this podcast. As I like to say, you’re never too old, and it’s never too late, to follow your dream.

My guests have been an amazing assortment of talented and successful musicians and other creatives. I’ve become friends with many of them. And, the icing on the cake is that I’ve been able to collaborate musically with a number of them.

I hope that you continue to enjoy this podcast and my music, as we look forward to 3 million downloads.
