On Focus Church’s 12th birthday, Pastor Mike delivered a powerful sermon titled “How to Experience Restoration,” using the biblical significance of the number 12 to illustrate themes of divine authority and spiritual governance. He highlighted the connection between the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles, demonstrating God’s intentional design. Drawing from Luke 8:40-56, he emphasized how faith plays a pivotal role in healing and restoration, using the stories of Jairus’s daughter and the woman suffering for 12 years. Pastor Mike urged the congregation to turn despair into desperation, which leads to expectation and, ultimately, restoration.
