There were so many goodies over on Traxsource, I could scarcely select within my budget! Be on the lookout for some choice slices from Mikki Afflick, Rachel Mc Donald, Angela Johnson (My favorite soprano) AND, somewhere in the mixture, you might here a little debut from myself and DaSoul! DO pay particular attention to our SLICE OF THE WEEK, and take a special listen to the Bruk N' Jazz preserves mixed up in there. I even loves one track so much, I played it TWICE!!
I have paid less attention to mixing in traditional consonance, opting instead for "friendly dissonance." My life has been fraught with friendly dissonance lately as God continues to stretch me and build me up into the best lady I can be - never without bumps and hiccups, right? Broken beat, by its very description is totally matching my life right now, matching up well with the calculated risks and serendipitous happenstances of Jazz. But I press on.
