I always take notes during a show, but this episode with Ken Nisch, may have set my personal record for most pages of written notes!
Ken is an amazing resource, his decades in business are full of ups and downs, wins and loses, and LESSONS LEARNED. I'm a student of success, I think mentors are critical, and I found myself wanting to hear more even as we closed out the show.
Ken hit on topics that are common themes like RESPONSIBILITY, CREATIVITY, MENTORS, AND BRINGING IDEAS TO THE TABLE. He shared some perspectives that were unique like the intersection of TALENT AND CURIOSITY and the mindset that THERE IS NEVER A BAD TIME JUST MISSED OPPORTUNITIES. Think about that, as we enter or are probably already in a RECESSION, the QUALITY OF SERVICE AND RELATIONSHIPS are what stand up in tough times. Moreover, during tough times rather than accept the mindset of the masses, focus on OPPORTUNITIES AND THEY WILL BE THERE. There is never really a bad time, only times when you may not be seeing possibilities.
