The Israelites always wanted the Gentiles to get saved, but they wanted it to happen by seeing Gentiles becoming Jews. Jesus had a different plan. We’d all love to think that once we know Jesus all our past divisions just disappear magically, but they don’t. We’d love to think we suddenly become great at embracing a new way of thinking, but we don’t.
