Chapel Probation s4- Episode 100 with traci kato-kiriyama
Manage episode 420735372 series 3302627
If you've read my book, Asian American Apostate, you know how important traci is to me. She's important to a lot of people, really. But she met me when I was still trying to be a Christian, and she helped me become the person I am today. So it makes sense to have her be the guest for the 100th episode of Chapel Probation. You'll hear her story, her perspective as a visitor to APU when I was teaching there, and you'll hear the origins of her art and activism. Get to know this person. One of the best people I've ever known.
traci's book, Navigating Without Instruments is available, and it's an incredible collection of poems and short essays that reflect her life, the tragedies, the art and activism, family, and death. You gotta check it out. And check out the Tuesday Night Cafe twice a month April-October each year.
